Empowering women through knowledge and truth to help them make an informed decision

Its time we start to love and accept ourselves; and stop the self-rejecting trend so prevalent in our current culture.

We need to stop measuring ourselves in breast size (or any external appearance: weight, nose, wrinkles … and on and on). It’s ultimately about self-esteem, self-love and self-acceptance. We live in a culture where the message is that we are never enough, but we don’t have to believe it.

Breast Implants and Cancer of the Immune System | Cancer Prevention & Treatment FundCancer Prevention & Treatment Fund

For many years, women with breast implants were assured by implant companies, plastic surgeons, and the FDA that breast implants did not cause breast cancer or any other type of cancer. Evidence of a link to some types of cancer and to autoimmune diseases, including studies conducted by researchers at FDA and the National Cancer Institute, was dismissed. However, as everyone knows from data on lung cancer, emphysema, and smoking, it can take decades to determine if an exposure causes cancer or other serious diseases. Even a very strong carcinogen, such as tobacco, is very unlikely to cause lung cancer for at least 30 years. The bad news for women with breast implants is that there is growing evidence that the implants can cause a very rare cancer of the immune system....Learn more

Coconut Oil Cures Foot Fungus | Coconut Oil

Photo of massaging coconut oil into one's footAbout ten years ago my doctor pointed to a thin white line on my foot: That’s fungus, he said. Huh. He prescribed an  antifungal medicine, previously available only by prescription, that had recently become over-the-counter (OTC). I tried several OTC remedies from my drugstore. None worked. According to the directions, they were to be applied twice per day. My doctor said the reason for the failure was that I hadn’t precisely followed the directions. This reminded me of a doctor who said that fat people know what to do about being fat (eat less) and simply fail to do it.

The Care Quality Commission .

We are planning a NEW Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman complaint - this time the CQC are gonna get it! We want all the HMG women (and those whose clinics are still in business after walking away from PIP patients) to join in - and get MP referrals! Now is a good time to poke your MP (elections looming;) If you need any help, your MP should help you. And if you doubt you will receive help - write anyways! And then write again!! The politicians think we have gone away... let,s show them we are still here, still need help & we ready to fight for our rights.
If you are still waiting for treatment, if you need help with an urgent referral, if you still have concerns about your health - let them know! Tell your story and tell them what help you need!
If you are moving on with your life - please also write! Write because of what you have been through & because you know women are still going through it.
Come on everyone!! Lets see if we can get more MPs on our side, we want more moral & ethical people in our corner. They need to know how things are for us.
We need legal justice but we need healthcare & treatment & a breast register & monitoring & support............
We don`t know what the future holds for us! Lets make sure its not more misery!
Here,s how you find your MP .  Find your Mp

Making YOUR CQC complaint for the record!
Every clinic needs a CQC Registration to operate. If your clinic has mistreated you, please make a complaint to the Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) about the CQC. Crap clinics should not be given CQC registrations! And those who have abandoned us and continue to trade should not be allowed to get away with it! Every complaint to the PHSO must be accompanied by a referral from your MP. The form for making your complaint & getting an MP referral is attached.
If you have a complaint against your clinic - time to make a noise! The more of us that complain the better. When we have obtained several MP referrals we become a group compliant & then we can push forward together as a group!
This is important! If we dont complain - this government will have got away with doing absolutely nothing to help and the clinics continue to rake in money, harming patients or failing in providing a Duty of Care!
Once you have completed your complaint, gathered all your evidence and sent a copy to your MP for referral please let us know! Making a complaint to the Parliamentary Ombudsman.docx
All aboard ♡

HEALTH: Fighting a Hard Battle... This Little Lady

The diagnosis is in ......Finally, after all these months and all these posts, I have an official diagnosis from a properly qualified medical professional
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome......   Perhaps I should feel relief that I finally know what it is. Maybe I should be “staying positive” and looking to the future. But you know what? At the moment, I’m simply trying to come to terms with this new information – to process, digest, accept. And I promise you, it’s not always so easy.I suppose I should start by explaining a little about CFS. It’s an illness that many (including myself, before this happened) dismiss without knowing the facts. Perhaps it should be known as it’s full name – myalgic encephalomyelitis – as the common name is misleading. This is not just about being a bit more tired than usual. That would be perfectly manageable. No, this is an evil, debilitating disorder that pretty much removes your right to live a normal life. It takes away your right to choose what, where, when. Read more

Blood Tests: Why Test the Blood? Dr Charles Shepherd

The Medical Advisor to the ME Association, Dr Charles Shepherd, writes about the importance of blood testing prior to receiving a diagnosis, explains what each test means including for children, and considers when new tests might be necessary…
Human blood contains red cells, white cells, platelets and plasma. Red blood cells carry oxygen around the body – so a deficiency or abnormality will probably cause anaemia.
White blood cells help to fight off infections and respond to allergies. They are sub-divided into cells called basophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes and neutrophils – each with a slightly different function.

Petition | Please make our life saving injectable vitamin B12 (hydroxocobalamin) available over the counter. | Change.org

The majority of UK patients suffering from Vitamin B12 deficiency and auto immune pernicious anaemia (PA), are restricted to a ‘maintenance dose’ of just four B12 (hydroxocobalamin) injections per year. This is tragically under treating a serious and very common deficiency - and this is only if patients are fortunate enough to achieve a diagnosis.

B12 deficiency affects both sexes and all ages, but the general misconception is that it only affects women over 60. Many of us inherit this condition and in turn, so do our children.

Hundreds of thousands of UK citizens are B12 deficient, there are many symptoms, many causes and it is commonly misdiagnosed. Vitamin B12 has no known toxicity, in fact it is used in huge quantities as a treatment for cyanide poisoning. You cannot overdose on B12 injections.

Silicone Breast Implants and Injections - DoctorMyhill

There are many problems with implants, of which the most obvious is reaction at the time of insertion. The majority of women who have silicone implants do not seem to react to the silicone - the immune system ignores it. However, for an unfortunate few the immune system is activated against the silicone. This can cause problems immediately after implantation when the body tries to get rid of the silicone. It does this by throwing up a fibrous capsule around the implant which then contracts, trying to squeeze the implant out. This is akin to the mechanism by which the body gets rid of any foreign body that gets into it, such as a thorn. In this event the implant goes hard and becomes painful. Surgeons often treat this by crushing the breast between their hands, either to rupture the implant or break the pseudo-capsule. However, this often creates just more problems. This technique is called external capsulotomy.

However, the long term effects are far more malign. This stems from the fact that silicone cannot be broken down by any enzyme system in the body, is engulfed by macrophages, carried to distant sites by embolisation and there it acts as an immune adjuvant, stimulating immune activity. This means that these patients may suffer from multisystem disease
